| Please honor yourself and your fellow practitioners: |
|
Personal Hygiene is important to all of us: please wear deodorant to class, and to help those with allergies,
please refrain from heavy perfumes, colognes or other fragrances.
|
| Try to arrive for class at least 5-10 minutes early. |
| If you happen to arrive late or must leave early, please try to position yourself near the entrance and conduct yourself
as quietly as possible.
|
| Please inform your instructor before class begins if you are injured, pregnant, or have any medical conditions that we should be aware of that may affect your training.
|
| Wear comfortable, layered clothing. Mind-body fitness is traditionally practiced in a warmer environment, and we do our best keep the studio at a comfortable temperature throughout the year. |
| Yoga and Pilates are best practiced on an empty or lightly-fed stomach. |
| It's always ok to rest, modify, or skip any pose or exercise. |
| Bring water and hydrate often throughout class. We also offer water in the studio. |
| We offer in-house-use only studio mats for anyone to use for class. We also have storage available for clients who wish to store their personal mats at the studio. Please respect those who wish to store their personal mats and only use the designated in-house studio mats for practice. |
| Please silence your cell phones before upon the studio. |
| Remember: Flexibility is NOT a pre-requisite for either Yoga or Pilates. All that we ask is that you BREATHE. |
| Children over the age of 10 are welcome to practice with at least one parent for $5; due to limited space,
we kindly ask that you do not bring younger children who are not coming to practice. |
